De-energized Tap-changers

A de-energized tap changer is a switch, which is connected to the winding taps of the transformer. It allows the voltage ratio of the transformer to be adjusted to suit voltage requirements at a transformer's installation site.

For Power Transformers

Type DTU Current Rating: to 575 A per deck to 650 kV BIL

Type DTW Current Rating: to 1000 A per deck to 900 kV BIL

Type DTL Current Rating: to 1000 A per deck to 600 kV BIL-Electrically Linear Tap-changer

For Distribution Transformers

Type DT & DV Tapchangers and Dual Voltage Switches
