2010-07-01 - ABB Saudi Arabia has bagged the top Saudi government award for the 7th consecutive year for its contribution in training and employing qualified Saudi nationals.
The General Organization for Technical & Vocational Training (GOTEVOT) recently honored ABB Saudi Arabia with a top Saudi government award for the 7th consecutive year for its commitment to Saudization and its outstanding efforts in training Saudi technical students.
HRH Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region, presented the Saudization award and the certificate of appreciation to ABB at the annual graduation ceremony of the Riyadh College of Technology (RCT) held on June 28, 2010. ABB Saudi's Country Training Manager and Senior Recruitment Advisor Awad Al-Enazy received the prestigious honor from Prince Sattam on behalf of ABB Saudi Arabia Country HR Manager Zeid Al-Rumaihi.
The Riyadh College of Technology is one of the premier technical colleges in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The technical meeting and the graduation ceremony of RCT were held under the auspices of GOTEVOT.
Addressing the audience at the graduation ceremony, Prince Sattam lauded the ABB management for its commitment and efforts in increasingly employing and training qualified Saudi nationals and its resolve to provide suitable technical job skills to Saudi students from various universities and technical institutes in the Kingdom.
Zeid Al-Rumaihi thanked the training and recruitment department and all the employees for their contributions in achieving this remarkable award and appreciation.
