2010-06-03 - ABB tops the list of best enterprise-sized companies to work for in Saudi Arabia in annual Al-Eqtisadiah-TeamOne survey.
Executives from ABB Saudi Arabia were on hand last week to pick up the top honors at the Al-Eqtisadiah-TeamOne awards evening for the Best Saudi Working Environment survey.
Hosted by HRH Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and held at Riyadh's Marriott Hotel, the awards ceremony featured speeches from Al-Eqtisadiah newspaper's editor in chief, officials from the Labor Ministry and Chambers of Commerce, as well as ABB's Aref Alarrak on the benefits of working in a positive working culture and environment.
On behalf of ABB Saudi Arabia Mahmoud Shaban collected the best working environment award from HRH Prince Faisal Bin Salman.
"We've worked hard on creating a positive working environment in ABB," explained Zeid Al-Rumaihi, Head of HR, ABB Saudi Arabia. "This award is vindication for all of our efforts over the past ten years, and I'm delighted to see the HR department get the recognition it deserves for its efforts."
